Hi! My name is Amanda Iwansky, and I am a licensed Real Estate Agent in the states of Iowa and Nebraska. I started my real estate career in Okoboji, Iowa, selling vacation homes and have been in real estate since 2011. I have lived in Omaha since 2005, minus 1.5 years that I spent in Okoboji. I work with clients in the greater Omaha area, and Southwest Iowa, but can branch out further, if necessary.
It is my commitment to strive to make each real estate transaction an enjoyable and professional experience. Every individual I work with deserves great communication, my full commitment, and loyalty. I pride myself on being honest, hard working, ambitious, extremely responsive and always work in the best interests of my clients.
I spent the first few years of my career being a part-time transaction coordinator for the top team at NPDodge, The Rensch Group. During that time I made many great connections, professionally and personally. I also learned ALL sides of a real estate transaction, from title to lending to inspections, etc.
Here is a bit about me:
Before pursuing real estate, I attended the University of Nebraska – Omaha, and graduated with degrees in Real Estate and Land Use Economics, Business Management, and Human Resources Management . During my time at UNO, I was a four-year member of the UNO Women’s Soccer team and we went on to become the 2005 Division II National Champions. I also spent a year as a member of the UNO Women’s Volleyball team during my 5th year.
I have been on the board of a local non-profit, Memories for Kids, since it's inception in 2011. The mission of MFK is to create lifelong memories for children who have a parent with stage IV cancer. I love volunteering my time with Foster Love. Foster Love was founded by a friend, Amber Richardson, in 2020. Foster Love is a unique boutique-like experience where children impacted by foster care 'shop' (free of charge) for clothing and necessities that can help them feel confident and comfortable. I also invest my time volunteering for Kicks For a Cure. Their mission is to raise awareness and funds in support of local cancer research at Creighton University Hereditary Cancer Center, UNMC Fred, and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center for the treatment and prevention of cancer. If you can't tell, I'm a sucker for a non-profit!
When I am not selling homes, I really enjoy the time I get to spend snowboarding in the winter and being at the lake in the summer! I love to attend Nebraska volleyball games. Since I do not have kids, I love to spoil my nieces and nephews. Being an aunt is the best.
I would love the opportunity to help you with any of your home buying and selling needs. Please feel free to contact me anytime!
