She took the time to listen to our wants and needs, then helped us thoughtfully narrow down neighborhoods and homes until we found the perfect fit. Her local insight was invaluable, and she was always quick to answer questions and offer guidance. She also worked seamlessly with the selling agent to make sure everything stayed on track and we were able to settle into our new home smoothly. Her support didn’t end at closing. Months later, she still checks in, shares local recommendations, and continues to be a trusted resource as we get settled in the community. We had met with several realtors but the moment she stepped inside our home and took the time to visit with us and to speak with us about our expectations-we had no doubt that she was the person for. She promised that she would do everything she could to sell our home. We trusted that she was going to do everything that she said and use the realtor tools in her toolbox to get our home sold. That was September. When we were preparing our home for market – and we were slowing down (we are not youngsters) – she made sure she stayed in communication with us until we got the job done. Her contacts range from a cleaning company to roofing folks. If we needed it, she had someone that would come and assist on short notice. It was an exciting evening to see the “For Sale – Melissa Hovendick” sign go up in our front yard. That was around the 1st of November. She was our “cheerleader.” Malissa was with us every step of the way. When it seemed like we were not going to sale our home and was close to pulling it off the market – Melissa was ours and our home’s champion. Then on Thanksgiving Day, she texted us with an offer on our home. Malissa was working on Thanksgiving Day to to walk us thru the signing of the initial documents. We were so impressed that she worked on a major holiday to help us sale our home. She walked with us through the negotiation process, inspection and to the final closing of our home. She also delivers – check for the sale of our home to us. She was more than our realtor, she was our partner in this entire process, which is extraordinarily stressful. She was empathetic, compassionate, and patient. She understood our frustrations and listen to our concerns. She was my therapist also. I recommend Melissa as the person you need to sell your home. The moment you meet her, you will feel her warmth and quiet southern charm. You will know she is the person, for you and your family. She is so much more that a realtor. She is also a woman of Faith.
