NP Dodge Real Estate Receives the Legacy Award May 26th, 2005 by NP Dodge Marketing Team The NP Dodge Residential Sales Office in Council Bluffs was recognized today with the Legacy Award from the Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce. This award was created in 2004 to recognize Chamber members who have been members over 30 years.

NP Dodge Council Bluffs Office Receives Award at Local Parade May 14th, 2005 by NP Dodge Marketing Team Today at the annual Council Bluffs parade the NP Dodge Council Bluffs Office was awarded 1st Place in the small commercial division for their float design. The float was a replica of the Historic General Dodge House. They also featured a gentleman dressed in period costume as General Dodge and carried a banner announcing their 150th year in business.

The NP Dodge Council Bluffs sales office is located at 1730 Madison Avenue with a total of 51 agents. NP Dodge is a family owned company celebrating its 150th year of business in 2005. They currently maintain 14 offices in Nebraska and Iowa and have over 450 agents.

150 NP Dodge Employees to Walk for UNO Women April 13th, 2005 by NP Dodge Marketing Team

NP Dodge Company has recruited a record 150 of its employees and associates to walk in UNO's "Women's Walk for Women's Athletics," to be held Saturday, April 16, beginning at 10 a.m. on the UNO campus. Each of these 150 men and women will represent one year of the company's 150 years in business in this community.

"The Women's Walk is an event NP Dodge has always supported, but this year we wanted to do something special in celebration of our 150th anniversary, so we were determined to recruit 150 people to join in the walk," said Kate Dodge, president of NP Dodge's National Equity, Inc. "We were pleasantly surprised at how easy that was to do." Dodge has volunteered her time for the annual event for the past 15 years.

Mayor Fahey Proclaims Feb. 3 'NP Dodge Day' February 03rd, 2005 by NP Dodge Marketing Team Mayor Mike Fahey proclaimed Feb. 3 "NP Dodge Day" at a press conference today, in recognition of NP Dodge Company's 150-year history of doing business in the community.

Sandy Dodge, president/chairman of the board, said the company is honored to be one of the city's eldest companies. Shortly after Grenville Dodge made the first land purchase by the Dodge family in 1855, brothers Nathan and Grenville opened The Dodge Land Office in Council Bluffs. Grenville went on to serve as a general during the Civil War and then as chief construction engineer for the building of Union Pacific Railroad. NP Dodge Presents 4 Nonprofits with Defibrillators February 03rd, 2005 by NP Dodge Marketing Team NP Dodge Company presented four local nonprofit organizations with Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) today in celebration of the company's 150th anniversary. Experts say the devices can save lives during cardiac emergencies.

"The on-site presence of an AED reduces critical wait time for treatment, and as a result improves a person's chance of surviving a cardiac crisis," said Amy Arouni, M.D., Creighton Cardiac Center cardiologist and American Heart Association board member. Between 300,000 and 400,000 people die from cardiac arrest each year in the United States, Arouni said, and most of these deaths occur outside of the hospital.
