Kate and Sandy Dodge Honored with Outstanding Lifetime Achievement Award at National Philanthropy Day Awards
Omaha, Nebraska – November 14, 2025 – The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Nebraska Chapter recognized Kate and Sandy Dodge with the Outstanding Lifetime Achievement award at the 2025 National Philanthropy Day Awards, held Friday, November 14, at Embassy Suites Omaha-La Vista.
This prestigious honor celebrates individuals or families whose long-term legacy of philanthropic commitment, leadership and impact that shape strong, more connected communities across Nebraska.
“Kate and Sandy’s decades of dedication have shaped countless lives and strengthened our community,” shared presenters during the ceremony. “Together, they’ve championed organizations including Boys Town, United Way of the Midlands, Methodist Hospital Foundation, and the Omaha Community Playhouse, leading with generosity, humility, and heart. Their commitment to service, especially Kate’s leadership of Boys Town’s Capital Campaign and Sandy’s deep civic involvement, reflects a lifelong belief in building stronger, more compassionate communities.”
The Dodges’ philanthropic legacy continues to inspire collaboration, civic engagement, and a shared commitment to creating a better Nebraska for all.
